Emma Scott is an awarded designer, writer and strategist with over 12 years experience in branding and design.

She began her career at Leo Burnett Sydney, working on brands such as Optus, Kelloggs, Canon, Heineken and Rabobank.

From there she worked extensively for branding agencies across Sydney. It was this experience that lead her to form The Elk Group in 2008 - an agency with a focus on working with clients to build an image that comes straight from the heart of their business. With a very loyal client base, The Elk Group continues to grow from strength-to-strength.

Emma enjoys collaborating with creative people from all kinds of disciplines. With a shared love of Italy, she recently launched an online magazine, An Affair with Italy, with fashion photographer Julie Adams. It''s an exploration of beautiful, heartfelt and often unexpected stories of people and their 'affair with Italy.'

Emma also partnered with Andrew Wynne on a popular children's book, The Love You Book, in 2010. The sequel, The Sweet Dreams Book, is due out later this year.

She is the founder and co-author of two blogs: one about design and the other about creativity and kids.

Emma has a Diploma and Postgraduate qualifications in Design, a Bachelor of Education from Sydney University and is currently learning Italian.
